They were facilitated by teachers, led by Zacharenia Karathanasi.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Under the shared title <em>\u201cLet\u2019s learn about our bodies and our relationships\u201d<\/em>, a series of interactive workshops invited children to:<\/p><ul><li>recognise body parts and personal boundaries,<\/li><li>express emotions through drawing and role-play, and<\/li><li>understand friendship, diversity and respect.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Activities were carefully adapted to the communication and sensory needs of each student, using visual aids, tactile materials, and storytelling techniques from the <em>LovABLE<\/em> toolkit.<\/p><p>A key activity during the sessions was the use of the interactive tool \u201cMy Body Traffic Light\u201d, inspired by the LovABLE educational material. The tool helps children understand personal boundaries and bodily autonomy through color-coded cues: green for safe and comfortable situations, yellow for uncertain ones, and red for inappropriate or unsafe touches. The sessions combined group discussion, drawing, and cooperative games, encouraging empathy, respect, and emotional expression. Students explored basic notions of body awareness, friendship, and diversity through play and collaboration.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The inclusive approach enabled all learners to participate, including those with intellectual or communication disabilities, with support provided through visual prompts and simple language.<\/p><p><em>Photos: Students in Arad participating in class workshops, working collaboratively on LovABLE<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-000401f elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"000401f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"573\" height=\"447\" src=\"https:\/\/cseiarad.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Foto2.png\" class=\"attachment-large size-large\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cseiarad.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Foto2.png 573w, https:\/\/cseiarad.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Foto2-300x234.png 300w, https:\/\/cseiarad.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Foto2-15x12.png 15w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 573px) 100vw, 573px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0b34936 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0b34936\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Romanian educators noted that the <em>LovABLE<\/em> materials were easy to adapt and well received by both children and staff, stimulating curiosity and dialogue about emotions, relationships, and personal safety.<\/p><p><\/p><p><strong>Evaluation and Impact<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Both schools implemented an evaluation tool tailored to young learners, asking simple questions about feelings, comfort, understanding, and willingness to join future sessions.<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Across both countries:<\/p><ul><li>More than 90 % of children reported feeling <em>\u201cvery good\u201d<\/em> during the workshops.<\/li><li>Nearly all expressed that they <em>understood<\/em> what was discussed.<\/li><li>The vast majority stated they would like to <em>participate again in the future<\/em>.<\/li><li>Open questions and drawings revealed joy, curiosity, and a growing sense of belonging.<\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><strong>Lessons learned from the implementation of the Local Pilots with students<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Visual and sensory tools enhance understanding and participation.<\/li><li>Group play and storytelling foster trust and engagement among all students.<\/li><li>Collaboration between teachers, parents, and support staff ensures continuity beyond the classroom.<\/li><li>Flexibility and adaptation to each learner\u2019s profile are key to successful implementation.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 These pilots demonstrated that inclusive sexuality education is both possible and beneficial when guided by a clear methodology, accessible materials, and educator preparation.<\/p><p><\/p><p><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The <em>LovABLE Local Pilots<\/em> with students in Greece and Romania have proven that inclusive sexuality education can be meaningfully integrated into early-age learning environments.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Through play, dialogue, and creativity, children learned to understand their bodies, express their feelings, and respect personal boundaries.
