The first launch meeting of our new project took place in Athens, in the last week of June, attended by the school’s psychopedagogue prof. Amalia Cojocariu (local coordinator) and special psychopedagogy prof. Ștefania Ureche (project team member). This is the first small-scale partnership project of CSEI Arad, in the field of school education, another Erasmus + program that our school will now have in its portfolio. The project is entitled: “LovAble: Sexual education for children with disabilities at preschool and primary level”. The project code is 2023-2-EL01-KA210-SCH-000174526, and as partners we have Challedu (Athens), an association with rich experience in implementing and running European-funded projects, and PSEUC (Chalkida – Evia island), a state institution, at preschool level, dedicated to children with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorders.
For 22 months we will work and do beautiful things together with our partners, for our main clients – the students, but we also address teachers and, we hope, a committed involvement from the parents.
We had a busy agenda, wonderful discussions, shared ideas and lots of laughter.
We have established the next steps we need to take and will keep the community updated.
